Sometimes I need a helping hand to create the recipes that I imagine. What sweeter helper than my daughter?
During winter we have been creating recipes to use for the groWaverley Winter Warmer Packs. These packs get put out at the stall for people to collect for free and cook with at home (check us out @groWaverley). This week I was inspired by a conversation I had when I was volunteering for The Salvation Army Kids in the Kitchen program. We were talking about how pizza could be sweet. It made me think about an easy lunchbox snack that would last a whole school week, a rainbow pizza.
We used a pancake rather than pizza base as we are gluten and lactose intolerant. You could also use a wrap for a base.
What we used:
- 2 x strawberries
- 1/2 punnet blueberries
- 1/2 orange
- 1/2 pear
- 1/2 kiwi fruit
- 1 pancake (or pizza base or wrap)
- 1 Tsp Peanut Butter (or other spread)
- Kiddies in the kitchen set
- Bento Lunch box
- Wonderall for mini sprouts
How to make it:
- Spread Peanut Butter on pancake
- Decorate with fruit
- Cut into slices and refridgerate.
